Pickup Truck and Big Rig Collide in Orange County

August 5, 2011 - According to reports a pickup truck and big rig collided in Orange County Friday morning. According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department Lt. Jim England, the accident occurred on Beach Boulevard, Friday morning when a big rig and pickup truck collided.

The accident occurred in the northbound lanes of Beach Boulevard, closing three lanes of the road, until the accident scene was cleared. The lanes closed were south of Lampson Avenue. The accident left two people injured that were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to Lt. England.
